Are your security officers SIA licensed?
Yes. Every Vigilant security officer is SIA licensed, and our training goes beyond the mandatory SIA licensing requirements with ongoing professional development in security techniques, emergency protocols and customer service. In the Republic of Ireland our officers are PSA (Private Security Authority) licensed.
Is Vigilant an SIA Approved Contractor?
Yes. Vigilant is an SIA Approved Contractor, and our personnel operate at levels in excess of those required for ACS (Approved Contractor Scheme) accreditation across both the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
How are your security staff vetted?
All Vigilant officers are thoroughly screened and vetted to BS7858 standards, including a full five-year screening process completed before they begin operational duties.
Where in the UK and Ireland do you operate?
We operate nationwide across the UK and the Republic of Ireland, supported by our London head office and regional offices in Manchester, Scotland and Dublin. Our national control line coordinates deployments across all regions.
How quickly can you provide security officers?
We are able to provide additional security officers at short notice. We maintain an experienced team of reserve officers specifically to deliver emergency cover and to support new contracts, so we can respond quickly to urgent requirements.
Do you provide 24/7 security?
Yes. We provide round-the-clock cover, including static guarding, mobile patrols and monitoring at any time of day or night, with service levels (SLAs) maintained and a complete audit trail.
